Lenovo K4 Note – Out Jan 5, 2015 – What We Know So Far (Updated)
Updated Jan 4: Lenovo has been spilling tidbits of information regarding the upcoming successor to the hugely popular K3 Note. Here’s what we know so far:
-To be shown at special event Jan 5 – New Dehli, India
-3 GB Ram
-Dual front facing speakers
-NFC (Not really as big of a deal as it was a few years back)
-All metal body (competing head on with the recent Meizu Metal and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3)
-A Mediatek cpu. Most probably a Helio X10 which is also found on phones around or just under the $200 USD mark like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, and the new Meizu Metal
-“Killer display” – we’re not sure what this means, but it came straight from Lenovo’s Twitter page. This could mean 4k video capabilities. We doubt screen resolusion will be QuadHD (4k) as that would add substantial cost to the device (unless of course Lenovo blows us all away with an amazing offer)

This could be one of the best budget phones for 2016. However there are phones in the pipeline with the Helio X20 (more of a flagship chip – and probably overkill) such as the upcoming Meizu Mini. But the Lenovo K4 Note is shaping up to be a great phone if the price is right.
Lenovo – We can’t wait!
